STD KAUÇUK ( RUBBER ) has been founded in order to produce rubber and rubber to metal bonded auto spare parts in Izmir in 1979. Following to being merged by Yavuz Otomotiv A.Ş. in 1999, the name of the company has changed to STD ECEM OTOMOTIV, reorganised and continued its activities at his own 6500 sqm premises in BORNOVA IZMIR.

ECEM Otomotiv has been producing rubber and rubber to metal bonded spare parts for FORD passenger and light commercial cars since its foundation. The management policy is to produce mountings, bushings, boots and similar spare parts same as the original part quality. Having DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality System Certificate from TUV Germany in 2003 is a proof of keen studies on quality target.

As a natural result of RD studies, ECEM has started to produce rubber and rubber to metal bonded spare parts also for MERCEDES and VOLKSWAGEN in 2002. The production range for Mercedes and VOLKSWAGEN is continuously expanding as well as for FORD by several new mould investments every month.

Beginning of 2003, a new line of production, cables, joined to the production range. Clutch, accelerate, hand brake, hood and door opening cables are being producing for FORD passenger and light commercial cars. The second half of 2003, the suspension parts were started to be produced. The latest production range shaft parts, such as flanged fork front-rear and sliding shaft, again for FORD were included in our production in 2005.   

ECEM Otomotiv is exporting to almost all counties where FORD cars are running and in the meantime by its machinery facilities having the ability of producing special parts according to the samples and/or technical drawings on request of customers. While targeting to offer the best service, ECEM will going on to be the most reliable supplier and continue to produce the quality with extending production range.
